This time of year is always the craziest – both in and out of the office. However, I am taking the time to stop and enjoy the winter weather and the magic of the holiday season. My satellite radio is officially, permanently set to the holiday station (#17), and I’ve been enjoying our various Christmas parties scattered throughout the month. There’s just something about this time of year that puts a pep in my step. Can you believe that Christmas is next week already?! I’m not even done with my holiday shopping & I’m in the midst of stuffing our wedding invites into envelopes. It’s crunch time! Here are 5 details from my past week:

Remember when I used to blog regularly? Me neither.

Life, work and wedding planning have gotten in the way, but I am back. Maybe it’s the holiday spirit or maybe it’s the fact that I’m on overdrive at work so when I come home I just can’t stop. Either way, I have a bunch of blog posts queued up and I’d like to pick up right where I left off. Whenever I go down to New York, part of me wants to lose my ticket back home. I love everything about the city: the people, the energy, the shops, the excitement. I even love riding to Penn Station with a crazy cab driver during rush hour. It’s my favorite place in the world, and my soul definitely needed a NYC recharge, which I fortunately received when I went down for a marketing conference on Friday. I also got to spend time on the Island with my college roomie, KMG. However, as much as I love it there, now that MPR is upstate with me, I was very excited to get back home to Troy. Starting this morning, it’s back to the grind, so I’ll take a moment to reflect back on my little getaway.
